Pleading guilty (which I guess he will do!?!) will go in his favour along with the fact both Suarez and the club apologised quickly for it.

I wonder what his next goal celebration will be?

But he wouldn't be playing. Send him to a team that has a few games to play before our season starts and every game they play when he's technically on loan counts against his suspension. He could be ready to go for our first match away at Old Trafford.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

A tackle and a bute, in different games, are of course unrelated. How the governing body punushes both acts is entirely related

Seeing the look on his face though I don't believe he did do it for that reason. We're just going to have to disagree on this one.
Roughing someone up with a deliberately illegal tackle is often premeditated too though.

I'm not saying the biting was only as bad as verbals or pinching, that's clearly not the case. What I am saying is that they are part of the same established pattern of behaviour - trying to wind people up to gain an advantage. He might go further than he normally does if he's wound up himself, but that's what I think the core motivation is. I haven't seen anything to suggest this act falls outside of that yet. I think the fact it's rare, it causes disgust, and he has a rep has made it simple to pin other unevidenced motivations on him that suit a crude caricature. When really all the evidence suggests to me he's a bit of a cheaty cunt who goes even further than normal when he gets wound up. Anger management won't change that.

You're probably right that we're never going to get anywhere here, ultimately it's all pretty subjective, but I'd like to think our discourse of drivel has eased the tedium of work for someone somewhere

Would it ? It would'nt to me, to me it would imply it's a daft question.

It's definitely been the most interesting part of a very dull day indeed for me.
Thomas Aquinus would have approved. And if he didn't I would have bitten him

Guarantee. Someone offers £30m+ for Suarez in the summer, he's gone.
