All this talk about selling our best player is stupid, lets go and help him, both on pitch by buying better players who can put a lesser burden on him and off the pitch through support, psychological help etc.

I bet if you offered Suarez to all the other Premier League teams (with 8 game ban) they'd all sign him, same goes with any European team.

He's one of the few players that turns up 9/10 of the time, a proper winner and we need more players like him, not less.

I could save quite a bit of cash by not subscribing to sky.

I already gave up Sky from last season. I just can't be bothered. I was getting so down watching games, results etc. Was falling out with people. Lift is too short.

I absolutely love Suarez though. The guy wears his heart on his sleeve. Such a shame to be honest

I don't care how long the ban is 6,8,10 or even more there only one person to blame here. We as a club used to be able to claim the moral high ground but not any more. Too many times he's dragged our name through the mud. I know he's a world class player but we need a player that can keep a cool head not one that looks like he belongs on a ****ing playground. I agree with you.

But there is another side, and that is the rank inconsistency with the governing body we are having to deal with.

The two issues should be kept separate in my opinion.

I do feel that not just on this, but virtually every game he's played in these last 12 months he has been treated so harsh by the media which for the most has been totally uncalled for

But then he goes and bites someone and all the arguing and trying to support and justify him just gets thrown out the window,

I don't want us to sell because he is a genuine top class player and right now he's the only top class player we have

However if the owners are prepared to spend, plus we got £40m selling him to someone outside the premier league, and we went and spent the money on 4 top class players...well if we can get those signings right, we'd probably be better off.

Not saying we should sell, or that the above would defo happen. But I'm now not that fussed anymore.

Ideal world though would be to keep him, for him to stop acting like a prick and doing stupid things and the owners go and invest in four top class players

FSG are not stupid and no strangers to controversial players. Look at how they handled Manny Ramirez on the Red Sox... after a million examples of insane behavior, they only sold him when he stopped competing on purpose.

Luis will always fight for the shirt, that will never be an issue. I think he stays unless you can replace him with better.

All of that said, the FA come off as xenophobic witch hunters with zero standards or accountability. 10 games, in comparison with other bans, is outrageous.

Rather than feel sorry for himself, he needs to make a concious effort to control his temper on the pitch. Whether he plays for us next season or not. He is a world class player and is still pretty young. Has his whole career ahead of him. Needs to make some tough decisions now

I wouldn't blame him one bit if he upped and left. He's been treated like complete ****e by the officials since he joined.
