I have just had a brainwave....how about the following sanction......3 game ban and then a Man v Food challenge for Luis...lose this challenge and its another 3 games added, but win and the ban is over! Kills two birds with one stone that does.

You could also blindfold the player, and fill the boxes with cold baked beans, or worms, or goo. And get Ant and Dec to present it.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostI think there should be 5 boxes and within each one there is a different punishment, ie 1 match ban, 3 match ban, 5 match ban, 10 match ban and a get out of jail card.
So whenever someone gets a red card or is pulled up like our luis, they get to choose a box. Thus they are choosing their own punishment.
On reflection it seems similar to what is occuring right now.

In all seriousness, this 10 game ban for Luis is fine in isolation. But the system as a whole needs looking at and the severity of things needs to be taken into account.
However, the decision as a whole stinks to high heaven and is too severe with regards to others to other people.*Except Michael, who died.

Yes it is, because it's discriminatory! no? So the issue is two fold, the severity of 'THE SUAREZ' punishment, in this instance, and the level of punishment handed out for totally violent acts that put people in hospital, which wouldn't even have come up as a subject for mass discussion but for this discrimination against Suarez either!Quote:

The sentence was strong, but to my mind the issue is not the severity of Suarez punishment but the weak nature of other punishments.

Basle ?Originally posted by Mostar View PostWould the ban be applicable to Championship league?
if it is their season starts earlier so we could send Luis to a team there for a period of 1 month..
What about a team who's season is on at a different time to ours but no Champs league, so he could do his ban while on his hols, really, if we can find a league that plays when ours is in closed season.
I'm sure it must be impossible, but it would be nice, and then we could actually give him 3 of the 10 game ban when he's back with us, as if to say..This would have been a fair ban so we'll punish him, and take back the moral high ground for dodging an fa ban.

Domestic ban only. Europa/Champions League doesn't come in to it.Originally posted by Mostar View PostWould the ban be applicable to Championship league?

The third paragraph is clearly a thinly disguised dig at the FA.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post
