Not that amazed as if you think about it, only 2 strikers were on the list for PFA Player of the year....They got the most votes so they had to be the 2 strikersOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostI am amazed.
if it works like that..... Although surprised they didnt change to 4-5-1 at the last minute

They always go 4-4-2 and I don't think you can argue with Suarez and van Persie (although I'm sure some will try)Originally posted by rcasemore View PostAlthough Ferdinand!! Surely Jagielka should be in over him and it's a bit harsh no MichuThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Look at this character assassination from Carole Malone in the Mirror.
I don't know much about football. But I do know a rich, spoiled brat when I see one. And Liverpool’s Luis Suarez is that man.
Suarez says he’s “morally destroyed” by his 10-match ban from the FA for biting Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic.
“This could break my dream of being recognised as the best forward in England,” he says.
Yeah, well tough! He shouldn’t keep biting players then, should he?
Suarez bleats he’s being victimised by the FA. No, he’s being punished. Which is altogether different. The man’s a racist lout who keeps getting into trouble, believing that because he earns £100,000 a week the rules of the game don’t apply to him. He’s also consumed by self-pity, not understanding – thanks to all the sycophants around him – that everything that’s happened to him is 100 per cent his own fault.
Liverpool bosses, terrified he’ll quit, are no doubt telling him how unfair it all is, how wonderful he is and how they’ll look after him.
And THAT’S the problem. It’s because they KEEP looking after him that he never has to take responsibility for what he does.
Those defending him say the FA ban is over the top and that the bite didn’t break the skin. Which isn’t the point. Had Suarez bitten someone in public he’d have been done for ABH. Had he been working in an accounts office or anywhere else – he’d have been sacked on the spot. But because it happened on a football pitch and he’s generating millions for his club – then he’s a “victim”.
Those same defenders claim he’s an easy target. No, he’s a thug who needs to know there are forces in the game who have bigger, sharper teeth than him. Forces that can stop him playing – no matter how good he is or how much he earns.
And if he IS a target – he’s made himself one by behaving like a savage.
