Think what Alex meant (and probably rightly so), is that sometimes we've made statements of public support in favour of him when maybe we would have been better advised keeping quiet. He's had Kenny and even Rodgers stick up for him a lot, and even fellow players. All received stick for it. One that sticks in the mind recently is over diving, when BR supported him in face of constant questions, only for him to go and give an interview admitting he dived against Stoke to try and win the game.

If he decides to move on, I'd see it as a huge slap in the face because he's had a whole lot of support from everyone connected with the club. I don't think he will move though

Yeah, if he decides to leave it'll look really bad on him. I can't see him leaving this year and next because we'll be back in the CL the season after next.

Ah yes. But I think the handshake thing is an iffy one. In application to the commonly accepted version of what happened, for Kenny to come out and back him made Kenny look stupid. (I still think Evra pulled his hand away though. I don't like Evra. The guy is an antagonising prick)

In conclusion though, the main point is Suarez has been backed hugely by everyone associated with the club. Needs to show his appreciation and show some loyalty
