If Suarez goes it'll be for £40 mil - that's the release clause in the contract he signed last summer before he had this amazing season.
If he's going to stay, even for another year, he'll need to sign a new deal, prob with higher wages, and with a higher release clause to reflect his new status.

That release clause hasn't been mentioned by any credible journalist. The story you've included is from the Sunday People. So you can pretty much guarantee it's bollocks. They sold Torres for £50m. There is no way that we would put in a release clause of £40m for SuarezOriginally posted by Patricks_Berger View PostIf Suarez goes it'll be for £40 mil - that's the release clause in the contract he signed last summer before he had this amazing season.

Hmm, that's not how it reads at all.Originally posted by Arn View PostEnglish isn't my first language.
IMO something isn't fact whatever way they say it as long as they don't post a link as proof.
I don't care how they say it. Only the link is the proof.
You need a verb. "I have no doubt" means you believe something with certainty. i.e. it's a firmly held opinion. "There is no doubt" means you're claiming something as a fact.
I have no doubt almost all English-speakers would always interpret someone starting off with the phrase "No doubt Suárez wants to leave" as claiming a fact and not stating an opinion. So your post wasn't simply ambiguous - it was always likely to misdirect the reader about your meaning.
Yes, it's not your first language but it would save a lot of hassle if you'd bear it in mind next time..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
