The club need to have a list of replacements ready should he leave. If he leaves earlier in the TW then we have enough time to bring them in. If he leaves late in the TW then we still know who we need to approach.

TBF I haven't seen it reported any other way other than people picking it up like that on message boards.

Unless this is being reported a different way over the last 24hrs (haven't seen that myself as you would imagine that would be the number two bullet point in the whole transfer saga if it was being reported that way), then that notion of him not being supported well by the club needs to be nipped in the bud. Seems to be an invention of the message boards.......unless Luis has managed a third interview in as many days.

Interesting, how come we always hear about clubs being annoyed that knowledge of a release clause in a players contract has leaked out ?

Ziege. I think the fine was for unauthorised contact with the player, i.e. an illegal approach or 'tapping up'.
