When you see £55m touted for Cavani, Bale £80m etc, £40m is a real lowball offer. **** them. Madrid up to their usual BS antics. I know we want this over but at the same time no way IMO should we bend over for those cunts and take the first poxy offer.

Personally I don't think Real Madrid will stick in a realistic offer until right near the end of the transfer window. They know he wants to go there and that he is banned for the first few games, so why would they want to pay his wages for an extra few weeks when they don't need to and he can't play anyway?
If they have made this offer, then it just confirms to LS that they want him and makes us either accept less than we want or pay his wages for an extra few weeks.
But it is all ifs at the moment.

No. If we lose him, it will set us back years in our chase for the top 4. Then we'll lose Coutino or anyone else that flourishes here. We must make the CL before we sell him to have any chance of attacting the talent to replace him. We risk become an upper mid table farm club for the big boysOriginally posted by Aj34 View PostHas anybody else completely lost interest in what the **** he does now

I dont think it sets us back years tbh, he misses every third games due to suspension and we can replace him with two top players. We have an exciting squad in the making and I wont let Luis leaving ruining that for me. I think we also have better points tally without him.Originally posted by Mello View PostNo. If we lose him, it will set us back years in our chase for the top 4. £40M they can **** right off. Madrid are a horrible team to do any sort of business with, massive ****ing bullyboys in the transfer market.
If they really want Luis £55M minimum for me he's a lot better than Cavani and IMO Bale; of course this could just all be tabloids sticking stuff together to make a story out of
Whatever the case with Suarez he's on a bloody long contract with us and unless they hit our magic number any bidders should be told to go and do one.

I would prefer if he stayed, as it would mean less risk. However, it looks increasingly likely that he would leave. Sell him early and get proper replacements. At the rate this is going, afraid we may make panic buys again.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostI dont think it sets us back years tbh, he misses every third games due to suspension and we can replace him with two top players. Not sure why I'm writing this as it's completely irrelevant. But my view is that if he stays, all well and good. It's good to have such a great player. But if he wants to go, just cash in and let him **** off somewhere else. I won't miss him in the slightest.
I'm sure I've said that before.Oh I don't know.
