Suarez as good as he has been, is hardly in the same privileged position. Can be sensed in the general apathy of supporters not caring he wants to leave. We now have a team, which means a team. If it means he sits on the bench moping then no skin off our nose, we're hardly going to get £50m from him and go buy Messi anyway.
Real Madrid can try what Chelsea did. But we've moved on (thank God). Also, one man team = ****wittery of the highest order.
I think we'd cope ok without him and we've seen stats to prove that to a degree. I hope that other teams know this too as, if you look at the scoring stats alone, it appears we're pretty reliant on him in that department.

2 reasons why Liverpool hopefully wont buckle even if we get a bid just before the transfer window closes
1. It's world cup year so players will be motivated even if they don't get their 'dream' move. Are Uruguay in the World Cup?
2. Suarez is a motivated player so I think he'll be professional if he doesn't get his move.
I only hope he turns up for pre season because we'll definately get rid if he doesn't, we'll have to to save face.
