      Arn, we love you man.

Now get back to posting about football. State your opinion and move on.

It's true though innit?! I've read reports in the media stating that Suarez has brought shame on our club and should be thrown out of the Premiership, but now that London clubs are interested in him suddenly he's a great player who could turn also-rans into title contenders!

I can't believe this Arsenal rumour has legs. What the actual ****.

Maybe next year we could sell Coutinho to Arsenal? I just don't believe that we'd be stupid enough to sell Suarez to the weakest club currently in the top four.

Arsenal??? Seriously? Arsenal?!?!?! I'm ****ting bricks at the thought of him going to Arsenal. Yes, it hasn't happened, but the thought is so horrific that I'm being ridiculously irrational about it already. There are so many things wrong with this picture:

                1) I thought the whole point of this pandering for a move was to get out of England. So if he goes there, it'll literally be him leaving because he's desperate to leave. Are we really that awful? He's making it feel like we're QPR and he has to jump ship.

                2) As everyone has said, they are one of our top three competitors in the league. Arsenal, Spurs, and Everton. Selling one of our first team players to any of the three (the unrealistic nature of the third option notwithstanding) is absurd. Just stupid. Stupid stupid stupid stupid.

                3) Kind of rehashing #2 but by selling him to Arsenal, Liverpool is helping one of its principal competitors in what could be a legitimate push for the league title. Arsenal. Winning the title. Because we sold them our best player.

                IT'S ALL SO WRONG

I could go on, but I'm being hysterical about something that hasn't even happened so perhaps it's best if I just stop.

I don't believe that he's pandering for a move away from the Premiership, I never believed that. He's in a very strong position and whatever happens he'll be getting a huge pay rise this summer. His agent will be getting a decent wedge of cash too.

                    You're not helping.

I just... hate footballers. They're all so good at having close to no redeeming qualities at the end of the day.

Most footballers have no loyalty. It's a fact of life. We are passionate about our football club, but most football players are only passionate about their wages. We've been fortunate to enjoy Suarez's skills for a short while and he'll move on and so will we. As long as we reinvest the proceeds from his sale wisely then I don't have any problem with him leaving.

Yes. Ambitious young men. They're not like us. I'm getting older and have no real ambition other than to enjoy life.

it would be one of the worst things that could happen.

I just don't understand why he wants to go so badly all of a sudden. What changed? He signed a new contract three months ago, didn't he?
