We need to grow balls and do to arsenal what Fergie done to us with Gabi Heinze.

We should make him suffer next season. Let him go on strike and rot in the reserves IMO.... we have wasted so much energy on this guy and he just basically slaps everyone who stood by him in the face. Makes me so angry to think he can act like this and force his way, well I truly hope we put our foot down and do not grant him his wish."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Come on. What if you want to move on from the company you are working for? Should they suspend you until you finally move? Of course, you'll do things in private without the constant hassling of the media. That's the difference.Originally posted by Tee View PostWe should make him suffer next season. Suárez wanting to move on is no different to you or me wanting to move on.Are we winning?

But most Companies would have sacked him for what he has done, not stand by him, support him and continue to pay him.Originally posted by Nigey View PostCome on. Suárez wanting to move on is no different to you or me wanting to move on.Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

I'm sure if you or me sunk our teeth into a work colleague's arm that would be classed as gross misconduct and we would be out the door.

Why do we keep getting these stupid comparisons with Joe Public who works for a company. It is a different case and scenario altogether and there is no comparison with people who are employed by companies.Originally posted by Nigey View PostCome on. Suarez wanting to move is VERY different to you or me moving jobs. He is in the professional sports industry that is in the spotlight of the media 24/7. He is paid an absolute fortune to do something 99% of us would dream of doing. He has thousands of adoring fans who PAY money to watch and follow him every week. A sporting icon worldwide.
Massive difference to you and me mate.
And Liverpool FC has stood by him through thick and thick, backing him to the hilt for his every transgression.
Whether you agree or not he owes this club big time and his current actions are really making him out to be a right spoilt selfish ******* and if the club wilts and lets him have his way it will be very disappointing. IF he leaves it must only be on the best terms for this club, that is all I care about now."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

Would love to see that happen.
Just can't believe there are no other clubs pushing for Suarez as publically as Arsenal, pretty infuriating tbh, long long time to go i know, but still i wish someone bigger than them would show their ****in hand!Last edited by Vermilion; 25-07-13, 08:11 AM.

Replying to Kev :
The club did not think it was a sackable offence so I think the matter is irrelevant. It's probably because his worth as a footballer is much more than his worth in the troubles and shenanigans he brings to the club. It doesn't seem to have deterred Arsenal's from bidding for him.
Tee:
I hear what you say but I still can't see much difference. Yes there is the media element to it but surely that probably exacerbates the situation. Role model or not if he thinks moving to Arsenal is a career progression at this point in time then there is no difference to what me or you could feel moving on from a company where you are valued by your colleagues and directors.
There are nuances of course but that shouldn't detract us from the main point of this being a job albeit a more enjoyable job than ours. Are we winning?

LiverpoolFC News @LFCTransferNRS 3m
Asked if there would be a cut-off point for Liverpool to even consider offers, Rodgers said: “Yes and that period will come soon.”
Asked if #LFC simply had to inform Suarez of offers in excess £40m, Rodgers said: “Absolutely. That's it. There is nothing more than that.
