Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Did Cross not tweet about his good Arsenal supporting pal, Sami Mokbel, backing up his view of the Suarez situation last night in the Daily Mail? Almost word for word what Cross wrote the day before
Transfer request the last resort?
And the headline refers to it as his "Dream Move".
more like nobody else wants him

Maybe the Suarez camp are leaking this stuff to Mr Cross. It's not something that should be ruled out in the absence of any other information. Whether you choose to believe or dismiss it is up to you. As always, I'm on the fence.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostLunacy isn't it?! Those journalists must be really thick. It would be so funny if this ended up in court. I can't imagine how a player would begin to suggest that they were being denied a transfer without first submitting a transfer request?
Oh I don't know.

No doubt that it's probably the Suarez camp and Arsenal leaking the stuff to the Arsenal journalists. The articles are pretty laughable really. Just look like to me they're trying to get Liverpool to blink first. If he wants to take legal action, he'd have been better advised to do it a couple of weeks ago, because it's unlikely he'll even get a hearing in time now before the window closesOriginally posted by dom9 View PostMaybe the Suarez camp are leaking this stuff to Mr Cross. And he would lose the legal case anyway

Well in that case you're somewhat contradicting yourself. You're slating the journalist and his output whilst saying that without doubt he is reporting the situation in good faith, as he is being fed specific information.Originally posted by Sarb View PostNo doubt that it's probably the Suarez camp and Arsenal leaking the stuff to the Arsenal journalists. Whatever you think of Suarez and his agents and their behaviour, you're guilty of shooting the messenger.Oh I don't know.

A contradiction in part, yes. But I don't think they believe what they're writing is true though. It's their choice to write what Arsenal and Suarez's camp are saying. They could quite easily not write it, or write it in a non-biased view with an honest version of events.Originally posted by dom9 View PostWell in that case you're somewhat contradicting yourself. There are many journalists rubbishing it and even stating that the case wouldn't be heard before the window. The timings of the articles (day of a home game) are obvious. All this stuff about a dream move...
It's plainly obvious it's his only option
John Cross makes a habit of writing and saying stuff he knows is bullsh*t when it comes to Arsenal. He has no qualms about it either.
Not shooting the messenger. Just pointing out his ridiculous articles and commentsLast edited by Sarb; 06-08-13, 08:48 AM.
