Forum rules - as you know, I'm a real stickler for them - don't allow me to post it.

      It's easy to find.

      EDIT: Shaggy's straight in there.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I must have missed it then. First time I've seen it was just now.

His own business, and as long as it doesn't affect him on the pitch, it's all I'm concerned with.
Never fessed up to it anyway, if I remember correctly.

I'm sorry I brought it up. Like I said, it's none of our - nor the f*cking Mirror's - business.

No one is suggesting that footballers should behave as if they are shining beacons of morality. But whether you take a like or dislike to someone is a matter of personal opinion.

And nobody is suggesting that players who play for LFC should not be backed and supported 100% whilst they are here.

So I don't get the big deal with this debate. If you like Suarez, fine. If you don't, fine. Will you support Suarez every time he steps onto the pitch in a red shirt, and hope that he scores loads of brilliant goals? Definitely. The rest is largely irrelevant.

I don't like people judging others unless they put themselves up to be judged (like politicians for instance). I genuinely believe it's actually a flaw in my character because I have an instant aversion to it. That said, it's not a flaw I'm eager to address.

I didn't say I like him or dislike him. I like some things he does and not others. I don't see the point in having a more fixed opinion about him. I feel I have no right to make a moral judgment about him.

Of course you can think what you like.

They get paid massive wages to perform on the pitch AND to sell the club off it. That means different rules for them. They must behave all the time off the pitch. It is a part of their job to do it, in short, shining beacons of morality are what they must act like off the pitch and perform on it.

Most footballers are role models in many eyes, and looked up to by youngsters and should behave according to that. If you put yourself in the spotlight, then you must also accept the inherent focus on every little detail, compared the the people watching from the dimmer place in the room.

Footballers sell a product, a club and much more and they put themselve up to be judged IMO. Perhaps not by their values or opinions, but that makes them no less role models for many many people the way I see it.
