Imagine what he could do if he was actually trying. Hello Sarb

I've calmed down now but I stand by what I said last night. I think he's the best/most talented player we've ever had. Watched the goals again this morning and sat there laughing.

Not to take anything away from Suarez's goals but the opposition defenders just let him take number 1 and 3. Still outrageous skill but could have been prevented.

The second goal was under pressure and the freekick was excellent in it's own right but overshadowed by his magnificent hattrick.

****ing hell, we could walk the league if we had our '08 midfield and '02 defence.

          Suarez ---- Sturridge

          ------- Gerrard -------

          Mascherano --- Alonso --- Hamann

          Riise --- Henchoz --- Hyppia --- Babbel

          ------------ Dudek ------------

Luis Suárez says he is "happy to stay" at Liverpool and wants to fire the club into the Champions League.

The striker had been determined to leave Anfield in the summer, with Liverpool rejecting a £40m plus £1 offer from Arsenal.

However, having scored another four goals against Norwich City in Wednesday's 5-1 rout to take his season's tally to 13, Suárez says he is only concentrating on helping the club finish in the top four.

"I think we can achieve what we set out to do," the Uruguayan, who became the first Premier League player to score three hat-tricks against the same side, told Marca when asked about Liverpool's Champions League chances.
"My aim is just to help make the team better. My job is just to score the goals that mean we keep winning games and get as high in the table as possible.

"I am happy to be in the Premier League, the best league there is. I am happy here and I will stay. I don't know about challenging for the title, but we want to be as high up in the table as possible and do as well as we can. I think we can achieve our target."

Every one of his goals last night had something special about it.

His hat-trick goal is my favourite though, that flick over Fer and then the finish where he just smashes it in. It just brings a smile to my face every time I see it.

Meh. I'm going to ignore everything he says, positive and negative, and just enjoy his football for as long as we're blessed to have him at our club

                      certainly up there

Dalglish was just before my time, Barnes was unbelievable and Gerrard for me is our greatest ever player but Suarez is truly magical

Would be pleased if he stayed until the end of the season but wouldn't think less of him if he moved on if we finished outside top 4. Hopefully if he fires us to top 4 he'll reconsider, but would fully understand if he wanted to go elsewhere. Just hope we can spend the money well but am trying to enjoy it while it lasts!

I don't know, the defender can be forgiven for not closing Suarez down with 40 yards to the goal, he could have spun from them and have a clear run at the goal, and with the third, I think they didn't know what hit them, his lifts the ball, then feigned a shot before releasing an excellent strike.
                          * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I would obviously be gutted, absolutely gutted to lose him but ultimately I don't mind what he does. If he goes to Real or Barca, he goes. He deserves the absolute best. Like Pabs said, just enjoy him while he's here. He's a genius.

I think most fans had an issue with him wanting to go to Arsenal. Don't think anyone would begrudge him a move to Real or Barca

I don't want him to do a Torres.
