Thanjk you.

He plays for us,He's stopped going to ground easily,he's stopped moaning at refs,he's banging in goals all over the shop,he's inspiring his teammates to our best season in a long time and I don't believe he did anything to Evra that warranted any kind of a ban let alone the one he got.
Ok so he bit Ivanovic and he tried to leave in the summer but I didn't begrudge him a move to a better team,he deserves that stage ,it was just the Arsenal thing that was a bit mental but I blame his agent on that.Hopefully he can play on that stage with us.Anyway It's over,he's learned some lesson's in his time here,he's improved because of them and he's giving his all for our team.
Supposedly RM made 90m just from using Ronaldo's image in his first year. That's 1.7m per week. And that's excluding his contribution to the team.
It's his image, how much of that is a fair distribution? Supposedly he gets 288k a week. Just 17% of what he generates, assuming he plays for free. Is that really out there?
I use Ronaldo as an example as the reports are so readily available.
We take it too seriously and forget that footy (or any sport for that matter) is an entertainment industry. Generally in the entertainment industry "actors" expect a fair distribution of the revenue they create.
The wages these days sound utterly nuts. But really, they're not.
What is nuts is the ridiculous prices of match tickets and merchandise that generates these insane amounts of revenue.
But then again, it's not an essential service, it's entertainment, so if the market will bear it then it's priced just about right.
I can't disagree with any of this but it shows what mugs we are, the prices in UK compared with for example Germany shows that Brits get mugged off. It allows the "Superstars" to come and ply their trade but it also pays shockingly high wages to average players who would only get a tenth of that in other countries. Something has gone wrong which allows mediocre players earn scandalous amounts of money at our expense.
A good enough reason for a 1 match boycott of all premier league games to show these people we wont be ripped off, or do the German 12.12 protest.
Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.
Tbh I don't think the new contract will mean anything in terms of him staying long term. It just protects us, his value and puts him in the wage bracket he deserves to be in.
Bale signed a new deal about 3 months before he ****ed off.
Without knowing the release clause, and there will be one this time, we don't know that it protects his value either. What if it's CL qualification or he leaves for £40,000,001?

Why would we do that though?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
He's worth at least twice as much,he knows it,we know it. There's no chance we'll be putting any clause in his contract which massively undervalues him.
It's none of the FA's business. If anything it's probably Suarez's agent pushing us to deal because his current contract has no clause and they probably want one that does. Plus he's worth loads more wages.
Either way with two years to go we are in the driving seat regarding insertion of clauses IMO.

Makes no sense for us to do so as it would affect our existing contract to our detriment and he still has 2.5 years left and we certainly don't need to sell.
Improving his contract in terms of wages (and extending it in the process hopefully) would be just as he certainly deserves it but we would be idiots if we would allow him to insert the clause in his new contract that would benefit him and not the club.
Because we're desperate to keep him and are confident of CL football?
But what do we gain from the contract, bar giving Suarez an easier way out? It's not as if his contract is out at the end of the season, so why would we consider those terms?
