Would like to think we could get Sanchez, and turn him into another Torres/Suarez success story.

He has bags of improvement left in him too imo.

I dont think that's even remotely true.

Someone said to me once that the brain is an organ in the body, just like a heart or lungs. Of course things are curable.

If he does remain at Anfield he is going to need a massively thicker skin than he has now, jeez, what ammo for the knobbers on the opposition terraces.

I'm sure he will learn to ignore them but he doesn't help himself much.

It's getting ridiculously out of hand. You don't help yourself Luis.
            Are we winning?

Personality disorders are different from mental disorders, you manage them, but even then it's notoriously difficult. I'd say an extreme version of a personality disorder would be a psychopath, you can't "cure" it, you can manage it but that takes a lot of effort and insight.

I'm not saying Luis definately has a PD but it could very well be, he seems to be a well functioning individual in life but who's to say that would be the case if he didn't have a football carreer.
              * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

At least those people find it as funny as I do. The reaction on here is surprising, but with the over reactions in the British press to many incidents over the past few years (not only in sport or re:Luis), I guess it had to rub off on some of you. Complete hysteria.

                It's hilarious.

Fans of other clubs won't care if his ban is international only if we sell him. All they care about is us not having him on the pitch next season. I hope he is.

The impossibility to cure/always going to be there angle is what a Doc/Psychiatrist/Psychologist of some sort was saying in a BBC article.

                      Lobotomy?

Pull out his teeth. Problem solved. He'll still try gum you but it won't hurt.

By your fantastical suggestion that a 'personality disorder of some type is impossible to cure'? I'm sure I'm not the only one
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

You'd think that the smack in the gob he received might make him think twice about doing it again. I hope he doesn't get banned and Suarez and Chiellini become best buddies. Although Suarez's behaviour is weird, nobody really got hurt. I want to see him and Uruguay do well - what's the point in watching this football showcase if the best players can't perform? I was a bit shocked that he'd done it again, but I'm over it.

Does Cognitive Behaviour Therapy not work for some personality disorders?

My sister has BPD and has found great success with this type of therapy.
