We had much easier schedule and no CL competition tho.

We need to bring some more quality upfront as I am not sure that Sturridge can do it alone + possible injuries.

does anyone still think it was far fetched for thinking that suarez has created this situation to force the club to sell him. its as obvious as the buck teeth sticking out of his mouth

If this "Because he has previous" argument had any merit Barton, Cattermole, Ramos and Pepe wouldn't be playing football.

As someone (Pabs?) has already mentioned. WHEN Suarez does it again, he'll be looking at anything from 6-12 months global ban. Let another club deal with the consequences.

He's a supremely gifted nutter but we need to sell and get rid of this circus.

There I was hoping the ineptness of FIFA would brush this away with an international ban they go and **** our season up and reduce the chances of us getting top dollar for him in a transfer.

LFC - the club where something always, always manages to go wrong.

I actually think a 2 year ban from playing for Uruguay would have hurt him more than 13 games playing for us.

Only if at international level? Never heard of FIFA getting invloved in a domestic

Liverpool Football Club has released the following statement in response to the FIFA Disciplinary Committee's decision regarding Luis Suarez.

Ian Ayre, chief executive officer, said: "Liverpool Football Club will wait until we have seen and had time to review the FIFA Disciplinary Committee report before making any further comment."
