Something will be done. Fifa have to realise how this is unfair towards Liverpool.

He'll miss 9 league games and will still win the golden boot on the way to our 19th title, Lambo and Studge having scored an avalanche of goals while he was banned. We'll sell him next summer for £80m to Madrid and shortly afterwards he'll be banned for life.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostAny positives here? Silver linings? Crumbs of comfort?

We can't appeal. Only Suarez and Uruguay.
We don't need a lawyer. We need a lobbyist to rally the other big UEFA clubs.
This sets a huge precedent and no sensible big club is going to be happy about the prospect of their employees and assets being banned from working for them for something they do playing for their country.

He has been overplayed for years in fairness. At least he'll have a rest
That's about as good as I can come up with

Those that killed her, were following the law.

Support from one of the two powerhouses could come with a clause though...Originally posted by topscorer View PostWe can't appeal. Only Suarez and Uruguay.

I can see Uraguary lodging an appeal just so they have him available until their appeal is heard (i.e. for their match on Saturday).
Problem with this is two fold.
1. It will put off Suarez's suspension for another week meaning he'll end up missing ten EPL matches, not nine as it is now.
2. It opens the door for FIFA to extend the ban yet further.
And we have no control over this. No! I am NOT in denial!

Suarez stays, we play well, he feels guilty as **** when he returns, fires us to glory at the end of the season, signs for life, never puts his teeth on another mans arm again, Liverpool go's from strength to strength.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostAny positives here?
