I was just about to post that.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostNone. We're all set for our most exciting season ever and now this. There's always something. We are cursed.
It seems like the universe is obsessed with ****ing us over.
It makes letting the title slip last year even worse.

I think they might challenge this. Challenging a domestic ban for violent conduct on International duty is substantially more palatable than challenging a ban for racism.Originally posted by captainfog View PostBig test for the owners. Do they fight this (in the courts if necessary) or do they **** out like they did after the Evra thing.Football without Origi is nothing

Or, they win the appeal and have it reduced ?Originally posted by IJM View PostI can see Uraguary lodging an appeal just so they have him available until their appeal is heard (i.e. for their match on Saturday).
Problem with this is two fold.
1. It will put off Suarez's suspension for another week meaning he'll end up missing ten EPL matches, not nine as it is now.
2. It opens the door for FIFA to extend the ban yet further.
And we have no control over this.

FIFA make more from bribes than we do legitimate income, then they have their own legitimate income. They wouldn't be scared off by us. It needs to be a collective effort from big teams.Originally posted by G View PostCould we sue FIFA for compensation after they prevented us from using our player through no fault of our own. Not sure if there is anything to fight.Originally posted by captainfog View PostBig test for the owners. Do they fight this (in the courts if necessary) or do they **** out like they did after the Evra thing.
We have to move on.
Only question is do we consider selling him, which may be not for his true value or do we give him the professional help he needs and keep him.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Yep, only way is to make sure the other clubs understand the can of worms FIFA have just opened and how it could ultimately affect them.
This could strengthen the cause for a breakaway by the big European clubs to start their own European league and **** FIFA and UEFA.
In fact that's another angle we should be lobbying and demanding UEFA support us.

people assuming that's it he will get sold
Barca might not want the cunt now
We should still stick to our guns. If barca want him - it's £50m plus Sanchez/pedro or £80m.
No cut price deals. If they offer any less then **** it, we might as well just keep him.
if Barca want him/he wants to go then he might have to just accept that as it's fault he doesn't get big wages or a signing on fee.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
