Evra was an absolute liability last season, and even the season before. Most Utd fans will tell you that. And maybe Herrera will replace Rooney in that position behind Van Persie? He's a very good player by all accounts.

He's still a a very good left back and still being picked at the highest level of the game. Shaw is in no way a guaranteed improvement on him, yet. I haven't signed up to the UK wankfest for him. He has at all to prove and a very hefty price tag to justify. Jon Flanagan had better stats last season! And like I said, nobody knows how the other lad will do or where he plays, how he fits etc so the point stands, they haven't improved their first 11 without any question. It all remains to be seen. They have undoubtedly improved the manager though. That much is true. I just hope he causes ructions behind the scene's.

We are going to miss him, but I reckon he is going to miss us even more once he is over his honeymoon period..... gutted to see him going, absolutely gutted. Hope he enjoys being part of the Messi project.
