    Thank you King Kenny

...from the bottom of my heart for making me so proud of being a Liverpool supporter again.

So proud of the way our Manager conducts himself and the way he believes in his players and gets them playing the 'Liverpool way' within 4 months of taking charge.

I always knew Kenny was special, but over time I had forgotten just how special he is, not just as a Manager but as a man.

    Legend.

Positive feelings only in thread peeps please!!!

I have no qualms in admitting I had some reservations about him coming back. Absolutely blown away by the work he's done. I'm buzzing at the moment, as we all are. Rafa gave us some amazing times and of course a crushing away win at Fulham doesn't compare with tonking Real Madrid & the Mancs by 4 & 5 in the same week, winning the CL etc. However, with everything sorted off the pitch, Hodgson buried, Kenny back, youngsters in the team and the Academy looking rosy, fantastic football and everything else, I don't think I've been this excited about LFC for a long time. Magnificent.

          Kenny

And before truefan999 comes along - like he did last time - quoting my "I had some reservations" and saying "see, it wasn't just me" etc....having reservations and categorically stating he would be a disaster are two totally different things.

I was thinking about his thread earlier this morning and did think about bumping it but better that he stays at the Funny Farm

Thanks from me too, it's been a great few weeks as an LFC supporter, after such a long time of sh*t. Lets hope this run goes in to next season too

Goes without saying, it really does.

So many examples of his credentials for the permanent role it's incredible, but the one that really stands out is the little joke and laugh he had with Robinson before sending him on against the Arsenal when we were really up against it.
                    Incredible man.

I think it's almost impossible to gauge the level of charisma and respect he would carry when he walks in the dressing room. Every one of the players seems to just want to run through brick walls for him. It's just awe-inspiring

How could we have got it so wrong with Hodgson ? It beggars belief.
To go from a manager we all wanted to skull-**** a few months into the role, to the King almost feels like winning the lottery.

I actually wanted Kenny back in the summer the only reservation I had was him being tainted by the two cowboys who owned us

However him coming back when he did was massively timely both for him and for us

The depth of despair we'd gone to under Hodgson gave Kenny some breathing space and probably galvanised the support behind him

I do not want ANYBODY but Kenny to get the job as things stand today. He deserves his chance for the next few seasons and lets see where he takes us

I have a feeling we wont regret it

He's incredible. As long as he's here we'll always have massive desire and a winning mentality which is great because thats what has just won them cunts the league.

A few more quality players and we'll be frightening.

I think a fair portion of us had some reservations, of course. I didn't think he'd be a disaster but to get us from where we were under The Fossil to where we are now - well - it's incredible.

Give him a 30 year contract.

I never thought he'd do badly. I felt we could only improve once roy left and Kenny would bring a bounce with him. My gut feeling was that he would do moderately well with an associated fear that the owners would be unable to replace him even if a top class (and better) alternative become a candidate. Safe to say that nobody would have had a more positive impact and that nobody would be preferable going into next season after the job he's done. Roll on next year with Kenny at the helm.
