Is the team who finishes top of the PL fair play league guaranteed a Europa place?

I thought they took all the teams who finish top of the FPLs across europe and then draw one or two randomly, to award the place in europe?

Yep that's what they do, I think. Still a reasonable chance of being drawn.

Out of how many though? A one in about 10 chance, surely?

Do we just need two draws to guarantee European football (assuming Spurs don't score 13 in their last game!)?

Yeah, either beat Spurs or pick up 2 points.

The top three associations of the 2010–11 UEFA Fair Play ranking each gain an additional berth
Following rule changes brought in for the UEFA Cup's replacement, the UEFA Europa League, there will be no draw for second and third places. The three highest placed national associations in the UEFA Fair Play ranking will each automatically gain an extra qualification berth for the First Qualifying Round, providing they have exceeded the threshold of games played, and have a minimum average score of 8.0. These berths are then allocated to the highest placed club in that association's own Fair Play league that has not yet qualified for either the UEFA Champions League or the UEFA Europa League.

i think spurs look completley jaded and shot - it's not suprising most of us said this at the start of the season - i work with a spurs fan and he was a little smug at the start at the season and i told him look, you don't realise how difficult it is to sustain a good level of performance for the league than champions league, week in week out, for a full season - not just physically but mentally too

We're seeing the effects of it now - is it one win in 13? and how many of those last 13 games were in and around the champions league knockout rounds etc

The atmosphere will be electrical Sunday - reports are surfacing that kenny is close to signing and i really wouldn't be suprised if it's announced sunday morning before kick off to whip the ground into a frenzy - we'll come out of the blocks and go straight at them - if we get an early goal they'll crumble and it'll be a turkey shoot

And i can't wait - i'm going to have an all dayer sunday - start about 11am get drunk, go the game and sing my little heart out
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

I had exactly the same conversation with a mate of mine who's a spurs fan - i was telling him that we know, through experience, how hard it is to maintain your league performance when you're playing CL too, that it drains you physically and mentally, that your squad will be stretched and that even games against ****e teams like everton become tricky - and he wasnt having any of it. He was full of all the tripe that we had earlier in the season, about how much stronger Spurs squad is than ours, and how they were well equipped to cope - yadda yadda yadda.

I just told him to wait and see. He's been quiet lately

If Spurs win both of their remaining games they'll finish on 62 points. Rafa's 'horror' season, for which he was sacked, saw us finish on 63 points.

Yet Redknapp is still being praised for a 'magnificent season'. Interesting.

It seemed a load of Spurs fans were giving Harry stick on Twitter after the game the other night, some saying he should go. I noticed a couple of journos saying how ridiculous this is, and that they were disgusted with Spurs fans etc etc.

Yet as you say Shaggy, when it was Rafa most journos couldn't wait to stick the boot in.
