    Autographs

With all this buzz around The King signing his contract, i was just wondering if anybody knew of an address to write to so as to request an autograph from the man himself. It would be the pride of my LFC memorbelia and something to show the grand kids.

So what i'm saying is have any of yous ever had any success from requesting autographs through the post and if so, what was the address you used? Any player autographs would be brilliant aswell! I used to have the Sulks autograph hung on me before he moved to Chelsea but it now takes pride of place at the bottom of my wardrobe

Years ago you use to be able to send a letter (with an S.A.E) to Melwood and often they would send back signed photos but I think times have changed now and I think chances of success now are VERY slim

Best option is to go down to Melwood yourself or get someone to go down there (with a photo and a pen) and doostop the gate until Kenny turns up and ambush his car

Haha wish I could ambush his but I live in Belfast so it's not really and option. I might try a personal letter and see if I get a personal response. Here's hoping eh?

is it not true that famous people are a little more reluctant as people just sell them on ebay?

though to be fair you do see it on tv players signing autographs as they leave or go to training

No chance of getting anything via the post I'm afraid.

One of my kids has tried writing to several of the players but has only ever received printed sheets in reply.

As Lec said you'll have to get yourself down to Melwood, it'll be a nice day out and whilst you're over you can do the stadium tour too.

I remember my Dad's friend went to a Liverpool/Scum game in the 1980s. Imagine my delight when he managed to get into the team dressing rooms before the game and get all the players on each team to sign the program! I then saw Ian Rush's autograph in Shoot! magazine a few months later and the penny dropped- he'd signed them all himself (prob with my Dad's help)

Ged replied to me with a letter and signed a photo for me, I replied back and he did again

Judas also sent me a signed photo. The cunt.

Judging by the responses I got the impression that the letters got nowhere near the players. More likely they got intercepted by the media department on route.

The only thing I would say is that the letters were addressed to Anfield. Maybe sending something to Melwood would elicit a better response.

If you get to the ground early I've noticed Kenny has got the injured squad members doing a lap of the pitch in their suits and signing autographs as they go around. It's great if you want Agger, Aurelio or Kellys but not much use for the more hardy players.

You could always just spend that little extra bit and get this from the store

Sure its pricey, but he'll actually write your name out. Whats £250.00 for something you'll have for the rest of your life.
