"Standard Liege midfielder Mehdi Carcela-Gonzalez will need surgery to reconstruct his face after this challenge from Racing Genk's on-loan Liverpool defender Chris Mavinga. Carcela suffered multiple fractures of his cheek, nose and right eye socket, as well as concussion. Mavinga was booked."

Sounds terrible for the guy.
