      I'm not talking about Zenden's ability as a player, just that i admire his attitude and committement, nothing more, nothing less.

        hes muck imo
        attitude only gets u half way
        at the weekend i remember whn he came on
        the ball came to him in cm and he just swung a foot at it in an attempt to clear it(i think )
        and literally just launched a garryowen about 50 ft straight up.
        i fail to see what he offers the team plus his passing is just ****e which really annoys me

                It's these little discussions into the players abilities that always interests me on here, to read what other fans think are the good and bad points in a players make up, how he performs match by match, is he playing in his right position, is he worthy of a place even...we can never agree of course and that's what good debate is all about after all, to put ones opinions and to reason them through discussion. So how do we reason this statement...

                          Some players like Zenden can be summed up in a few words... He can't defend, doesn't score many, isn't quick, isn't tricky, and has never been a regular first teamer at any of his clubs.

                          Even on a free it was a waste of money.

                              I can't understand why he gets slated so much. On Tuesday night the graons when he came n really annoyed me. Ok he's not the greates palyer, he is more than competent and has a reta attitude. His though-ball for Stevie's goal was excellent. He fills in well and works hard wherever he is put, in short, an asset to the club.

                                He was a regular at PSV which encouraged Barcelona to buy him. Claudio Ranieri, Louis Van Gaal, and Rafa Benitez are all stupid though and their knowledge of footballers is far inferior to yours.

                                And while I'm at it, he was a regular first teamer at Boro and was their player of the season.
