Six years hey? Jeez, seems like yesterday. And to think we nearly done it again 2 years later. Halcyon days.

I absolutely love that, watching it now 6 years on and it still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

oh my god, it's actually 6 years ago!

One of the best evenings of my life watching that, at half time I was even getting sympathy from my Manc supporting best mate, let's just say at the end of the pens he wasn't offering the same support

That was one of my lowest and highest points as a Liverpool fan. I still remember every kick of the ball, and all the phone calls and texts I got at half time.

Fantastic day. I can remember it like it was yesterday!
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Six years, my god that has flown. The worst 45 minutes I have witnessed as a Liverpool fan, followed by the best. An absolute rollercoaster of a night, I felt exhausted at the end of it. Still get Goosepimples when I watch anything to do with Istanbul, it will live with me forever.

28 years earlier, we did it in Rome - Happy 25th May!

Great vid and, judging by his words, even the hairs on the Richard Keys' palms appear to be standing up

Can't believe how quick six years have gone.

Amazing night of emotions. I remember turning my phone off at half time as I was utterly gutted. I just kept hoping that it wouldn't end in a 5-0 gubbing.

Finnan, Hyypia, Riise, Alonso, Garcia... all moved on but all heroes. Carragher and Gerrard came of age that night. Rafa's second half tactics...

I was actually off ill that day, and snap, I am again. Weird.

I remember my kids wanting to switch it off at half time so they could play Revenge of the Sith on the PS2 ("Come on Dad, they're getting stuffed"). I let them put it on for half time, misjudged it and we were 8 or 9 minutes into the second half when I put it back on, just as Gerrard scored.
