this could make is a laughing stock. Remember under Rebok, our shirts hardly sold anywhere, and Warrior only sell hockey and La Crosse stuff. Are they set up to handle us?

I know we have cash in the pocket, but wont our branding suffer?

Mate of mine is good friends with the fella who brokered the deal for Warrior, I had the same concerns but i'm assured they've got the resources to make this work.

People really are making too big a deal over this "Adidas is great" thing IMO. Come next year my lad will be mithering the ****ing life out of me to buy him the new shirt whether it's made by Adidas, Warrior or Paul's Boutique. Who made it would be of little consequence to him.

Its about distribution and availability. Under Reebok, it was hard to find a Liverpool shirt in sports shops, especially abroad. Adidas have been awesome in this respect. Its not just about selling it to the kids or hardcore fans. Its about getting those extra sales from non-fans who are looking for football fashion, or a fan that buys the occasional shirt.

Just speaking from personal experience, I never had any problem finding shirts when Reebok made them.

It wasn't so much a Reebok problem as an in house Liverpool issue due to the nature of the outsourcing.

Adidas and Reebok both have the ability to distribute sports clothing all around the world.

The fact there was poor distribution under the previous makers of our kit was down to the clubs own commercial / marketing departments direction which has since been sorted out. Incidentally Adidas actually bought Reebok at the start of 2006, there both directed by the same board.

As for Warrior, well there actually owned by New Balance and I’m sure you’ve heard of them?
Fenway sports group have done a huge deal with New Balance to make and distribute the Boston Red Sox kit which is also a tie in deal for the Warrior / Liverpool kit and were getting double what Adidas where giving us, in fact there giving us more money than any sports manufacturer have ever given any English club.

I’m quite sure Fenway and New Balance / Warrior know exactly what there doing.

Looks like a fans replication of what their design process would be like.
