Either way, i would not sell him to Juve, unload him to anyone but them, at that price.

I hear you but if we do not want him. £6 mill is better than having to pay his wages.......

        I would do the same.

6m is a joke and should show those Juve ****ers that they cannot bully us.

Juve will only offer £6million for Kop flop Aquilani
They should have paid £6m alone to play him in that Giggs (was it Giggs?) testimonial after the season had finished.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

It was Gary Neville's testimonial wasn't it?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Aye, that actually sounds right. Even worse.

So reading between the lines, we were hoping to sell him to Juve before we activated another payment, but didn't manage to.

Of course Juve probably knew that and had no intention of paying the fee, knowing full well the impending £4.4 payment would weaken our hand. Hence the quite frankly insulting £6m offer

Eh? We are contracted to pay Roma the full agreed fee regardless of whether he's still our player.

Take the 6mill then, but not from Juve, sell him to anyone but them, even if it's 4mill, **** em.

The rush of clubs lining up to buy him tells you everything you need to know. If no other club has shown an interest, why would Juve pay us £14m.

It would make sense to take him back - see how he performs under Kenny's style. Depends on his wages maybe.

I reckon we'd get 6mill for him no probs, we have no idea who may or may not come in for him once we make it known he's available for 6mill to anyone but Juve.

ffs, roma could near enough buy him back with our final installment!

Once/If Ancelloti takes over at Villa there might even be business to be done there at that price...he's down to 2/1 now to be their next boss.
