Me:Just the mere fact that we are perceived to be able to stump up that much cash is a good reflection on our financial well being & our situation regardig the acquisition of players. And if we do sign him (think you'll find there was no report of a done deal) even better.
Correct, there was no report of a deal being done - which is why i asked who you'd stumped up £27m for - you'd said "Being able to stump up £27m for a player after buying several othe" - which is something there is no evidence of at the moment, other than a tenuous story in a ****rag of a 'newspaper'.
Perception is one thing, cold hard cash is another. If you have any debts or a mortgage, go to the bank and tell them you intend to pay it off with 'perception' and see how that conversation goes. ;-)Comment
