Sammy Lee have been a good servant for us for many years, and seems to have been an appreciated by many over the years.

I think it will be good to get rid of the rest of the "old regime" so to speak. This must surely mean that Clarke will continue in a prominente role at the club?

Not surprised Sammy has gone. he has been a good servant to the club over the years (more so as a player). IMO we will go back to promoting from within and Clarke will be groomed to eventually take over from Kenny

He could come back in 5 minutes if that's all he's got to do
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Chelsea have been trying to poach Clarke, this move will be to clarify his position as Kenny's no. 2

Did I read somewhere recently that Sami might be returning or was that a joke?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

It is bollocks - he's joined the backroom staff at Bayer Neverkusen

Okey dokey. We'll take Fowler instead.

i dont get this bring back x as a coach.

as far as i am concerned i want good coaches not just ex players coming back who i hope will be good coaches.

if the club thinks they will be good coaches then great.

I agree about the fact that they must be good coaches but I think there is a genuine advantage going forward in having people associated with the club, and with a certain philosophy coaching at the club. The obvious model being Barcelona - but Steve Bould at Arsenal being another example.

yeah, my point is more that they need to be good coaches though. I agree that you need to take that chance, with those in house who you think will make it.

but being a good player doesnt not make you a good coach.

Where has this come from, anywhere concrete? Chelsea have just appointed Di Matteo, although maybe he was second choice after Clarke? That would be epic
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet
