At the end of last last season, we were looking up at the Top 4, wondering how we might get back in. City, Chelsea and United all look to be competing, but with this sudden Arsenal exodus, is anyone else feeling good about our chances for 4th? I don't even care who else is coming in (ok, yes I do..), but our current 11 is starting to look like a contender for the CL place at the least... some more quality at LB, CB and LB and we can really push things. I can't see Arsenal losing Cesc, Nasri and Clichy, with Arshavin off form and Van Persie made of tin foil... I just can't see how, even with new players, they will do it.

All of this drama at Arsenal is suddenly making me feel much better about our chances. Door is open, ours for the taking at the very least. I want to push for a title, but returning to the Top 4 would be acceptable given the depth to which we plunged in recent times...

I don't think arsenal will be weaker for losing Frabregas and Nasri by the time the window closes. I don't think we'll make the CL places next season. A couple of surprise signings might change my mind, but we'll see about that.

Based on our performance under Kenny for the remainder of the season we are Top 4 candidates.

Holy comolli and FSG just need to stop playing the Parry and give us some decent players to improve the squad

I think at best we will get 5th, obviously get some more quality players in and that might change,but currently 5 th is the best I can see.

I meant more based on our squad than others. But yeah, if nobody bought anybody else, as it stands now, i dont think we'd stand any realistic chance of 4th or higher.

I hear, I am wishing my life away up to the 13th when I go on holiday. Both for holiday reasons and the fact I will be away from a pc for 3 weeks.

I havent given up on anything, i am just not jumping forward to 1st September either, i'm judging things as they happen and thus far, in terms of this window, i think it's been poor.
