Very reactionary dont you think? so with over 2 months of the window left you are judgng it as poor.....

Ours has been better then Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and Citys........

I'm not concerned about what other clubs do.

The alternative to what i'm doing is what, adopt a metaphorical blindfold and ignore everything until 1st September?

If 'reactionary' is reacting to things as they happen, rather than ignoring everything, then fair enough.

My big worry is that they havent realised how hard it is going to be to shift the **** from our side.

If they cant get of say for instance.....Cole, Ngog, Jova ,Poulsen, Aqua, Merieles, Konch, Aurelio thats probably 300-400+ grand a week they were hoping to invest in other areas.

Not saying they are all rubbish but they may look at moving them all on for aariety of reasons.

And i'm doing what, running them out of town?

I find the notion of seeing things happen/not happen and having zero reaction or opinion on it, somewhat robotic.

I think you're going off on a different tangent maybe, with all this 'giving up' and 'prove themselves' stuff. I'm simply seeing things that are happening and forming an opinion to them - like normal people do in life, every day.

They only bought for more or less what we sold

Torres and Babel for Suarez and Carroll

I am still waiting for them to fully prove themselves

Neither do I based on how things are now.

I think based on form towards the end of the season we're in a strong position to get into the top 4. I think that Arsenal and Man Utd certainly have issues that they need to address this summer. If they don't get these right they could be dragged into a fight to stay up there. Man Utd have to replace some key players, while Arsenal need to address the defensive side of their game with the appropriate players (including a keeper), and could also lose up to 3 first teamer players. We on the other hand will strengthen our squad, without having to get replace any key players, so we should be able to push on.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Kenny did great job since he took over but we played with little or no expectations until the end of the season when we finally got the chance to be in the top 5 so I personally wouldn't use our run in the second half of the last season as an indication of how good this year will be.

I think the expectations and the pressure to produce and deliver will be much greater and I am not so sure that we will be able to repeat the same results without acquiring some quality players.

ManU did imo most of their purchases and if they get top notch CM they will be there next year. Chavs will spend money and if they attract 2,3 players, which they said they will, with already deep bench they will be fighting for the title. City will continue with their shopping spree and they already have a very good and deep squad that will probably gel better and produce better. Arsenal will have 60-70m (includes their summer budget) after they sell Cesc, Nasri and Clichy so Wenger will look for good players to replace. Spurs may lose Modric and with money generated + their cash outlay for summer they will improve.

I personally think it will be more difficult to be in top 4 this year than last, which is even bigger reason for us to buy some good quality players and get rid of our deadwood as soon as possible.

I agree, and you would think that offloading inferior players would be the priority right now. Worryingly, there seems to be slow progress there too.

                            Still better than Everton.

Why make that pessimistic comment now? "as things stand now?" Why not wait until the first game of the season then make your prediction, there's still a long time to go for KD to get the additions to the squad that he thinks will make the difference.

Nothing is happening because that's how it should be until something actually happens. Then they'll let us know. Frustrating yes but it's the best way in the long run. There's been so much speculation about how many players we've missed out on, to be fair none of the suggested targets were that great anyway so what the ****..

Truth is we're a sleeping giant, we're still a force but not commanding the respect we used to, we cannot promise European footy or top money, we are living on past glories. Kennys job's a tough one but if anyone can then Kenny can.

We can rise again and I'm sure we will, just be a bit more optimistic ffs

Its still a commitment, they could have bought 2 10/15 millonplayez but they didn't and that can only bode well for future, Henderson is a big signing to....
