Well Shaggy was right, he's been away less than a day and we've signed someone!

Welcome to LFC Doni. I know you're not reading this but I'll still pretend you are. Whatever they told you to get you to sign for us, it's all lies. I can confirm you will not be playing any more than 3 games for LFC in the forthcoming season.

I'd wish you luck but you don't need any - you wont make many mistakes sat on the bench.

It helps if he only ever goes away when the transfer window is open.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Hopefully we won't need to call on you very often

We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

We should nickname him the judge as he is always on the bench.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Confident that he will do a competent job if called upon and will also help push Pepe in training.

                                Doni delight at Reds deal

Liverpool new boy Alexander Doni has spoken of his delight of making the move to Anfield from Roma.

Doni sealed his switch to Merseyside earlier this month after six successful seasons in the Italian capital.

The shot-stopper, who has signed a two-year deal with Kenny Dalglish's side, admits joining the Reds was an offer he could not turn down despite being happy in Serie A.

The 31-year-old will provide cover and competition for Pepe Reina and the Brazilian custodian is delighted to join such a famous club.

"It is an honour to be at a club like Liverpool after leaving Roma," Doni told

"I was happy at Roma, but Liverpool is one of those clubs that when the opportunity to go there comes along you have to take it with both hands.

"I would like to thank everyone at Roma and the fans for what they did for me during my time there and I am excited about my new challenge at Liverpool.

"I would also like to thank my agent Ricardo Sarti for making it happen.

"I am looking forward to playing for the Liverpool fans and it will help I will have my fellow Brazilians Lucas and Fabio Aurelio there to help me settle in and I promise to do my best for the club."
