I have no idea if Doni's any good or not but I know Brad Jones is, sadly, complete ****.
I know he was free but if Jones plays in Pepe's absence then Doni goes down as another transfer **** up.
Sign him because we don't trust the back-up (Jones), stick him on the bench every single week, including all Cup games, and yet when the no.1 is out we don't turn to the back-up, but back to Jones?
If Jones is better than Doni, then have Jones on the bench every week.
Doni has hardly played for the reserves either. Maybe once?
Bit of a cock up.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Are you Dean Bouzanis?Originally posted by vlahka View PostI'm greek, but born/live in Australia. So I'm a multicultural kangaroo breeder.
If so, you give me grief in my Football Manager game and I'm still not happy about it.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Got the feeling Reina really is beyond caring with Lfc. After being touted around as a possible transfer the past two seasons he really has gone off the boil. I suppose a lot of it has got to do with him losing his spanish goalkeeping coach possibly.
When I look at the bigger picture he's been letting in sloppy goals all season - and don't blame the defence as he needs to man up and take responsiibility - at times he just watches the ball drop in the net, when in the past he used to pull off some sensational saves. We don't seem to ever use our no2 during the season properly and look at our situation now.
When you look at the performance of our reserve/U18 keepers, they're pretty dire, in fact I would suggest we go out and start looking to sign new keepers as I'm not sure we can keep hold of Pepe, but then again it may not be such a bad thing judging by his form the past two seasons. But these young keepers in the Academy are comical at times.
Your too good to be true, can't take the ball off you you got a heavenly touch, you pass like Sounness to rush. And when we're pissed in the bars we thank the Lord that your ours

My mate who is an Italian football manager (non-professional) and a massive Roma fan said about a week before the Newcastle game that he could not understand why we had Doni and that he was "the worst keeper I have ever seen". Should be interesting to see how he does

There was great joy he'd gone on Roma forums, a similar sort of joy come from Leverkusen fans when we took Voronin and Juve fans when we took Poulsen which is a bit ominous.
To be honest, I never expect much from a back up, just hope he's mildly competent. He did look a bit turd for Roma I thought but he does have a bit of pedigree. Cav was the only back up keeper I've really liked. And mad Pegguy!

I'd wish you luck but you don't need any - you wont make many mistakes sat on the bench.
