Firstly I'm glad he's ok. It's an awful thing to happen to anyone.

Secondly confused about something, I'm just wondering what was meant by this comment:
On 3rd July 2012 Gazzetta says Doni risked death of a heart attack during an examination by the medical staff of Liverpool.
Is the suggestion from this that the examination caused the heart attack or thath the medical staff were negligent? I'm unsure what the legal issues are.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

      Lost in translation.

Not literally that he risked death by having it, but that he came close to death during?

Don't think the staff can be blamed for that unless Dr Zak Iqbal's shoes gave him a heart attack.

It seems he knew he had a heart problem prior to the examination and felt we were pushing him too hard.

He shouldn't be playing full stop if he does have a cardiovascular problem.

Well I know that Aintree lost the cardiac contract about 3 years ago.

He signed for us in July 2011. The problem didn't show up until a year later (presumably due to more rigorous tests after what happened to Muamba).

There is no side effects whatsoever that Creatine has. I studied it at great length, read many research papers on it etc. before I opted to take it myself. It's a substance that your body produces naturally and you can get creatine naturally in red meat.

The only side effect is that you instantly put weight on when your body becomes fully loaded with it (the loading phase involves having 4 x 5g doses of creatine taken over 5 days and then reverting to 5g a day) as your muscles are retaining more water. But that is the whole point of taking it!

Supposedly Roberto Carlos took it. I do not see how footballers can benefit from taking it. It gives you explosive energy which weight trainers need. But your muscles take that bit longer to recover from that extra energy burst which is not ideal for footballers IMO. I had a lot of issues in calf muscles when I was taking it. It is good **** though.
I was under the impression it just offsets muscle fatigue/failure so you can push that little bit harder for bigger gains hence the longer recovery period.

It's probably the best supplement out there bar whey (but some people question it's need over whole milk).

That was what I was kind of expecting, but I don't understand the what all the legal stuff is about. People are mentioning confidentiality, but this is the first time it has come out so I can't see a breach of confidentiality being the issue.

People are mentioning confidentiality in response to Nigel's insane suggestion that the club should have told us all about it months ago.

No-one with even a tenuous grasp of the basic facts and/or their sanity would suggest that's the issue behind any legal action for the very reason you mention.
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

maybe its an insurance related problem afterall the clubs are insured for players healths etc...

                          From Irish Independent...

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Alexander Doni 'nearly died' after suffering heart attack while at Anfield

THE former Liverpool goalkeeper Alexander Doni has explained his long absence from football by revealing he suffered a heart attack in the summer.
The 33-year-old Brazilian last played for Liverpool on the final day of the 2011-12 season but had not featured in any squad since.

Liverpool refused to comment on Doni's revelation and said it was for personal reasons.

But after he secured a deadline-day move back to his homeland to join Botafogo, the goalkeeper has explained what happened, which began while he was undergoing medical tests at the club.

"I almost... I almost ended up on the other side. I had a heart attack for about 25 seconds," the former Roma player told calciomercato.com in Italy.
"I've been to one of the best doctors in Europe who looked at me carefully. He's asked me to stop for a few months.
"Now I have to stay put until April, then I can return to the field, I want to play in the 2014 Paulista championship."
Doni also told Brazilian broadcaster Globo: "I always had an arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat) and during some tests in Liverpool suffered a cardiac arrest.

"I carried out checks across Europe and I had to extend my period of absence from the field."

so LFC respected his wish, or it was club choice not to put this news in public?

anyway, i wish him all the best, it was really weird that he kinda dissapeared.

Might makes your calves look bigger but what if it damages your liver. Worse still what happens whrn it shrinks your cock like bodybuilders seem to suffer from.

You might end up with big calves but you can hardly stick those into the opposite sex eh and micro cocks aren't in fashion anymore.

On a more serious note be careful with those sorts of supplements.
I am careful! I did a **** load of reading. It is a fanstatic supplement as not one study has shown it has any side effect. When I first started taking it, it actually had a viagra effect on me . But that is unheard of side effect too.

My calves did not look bigger though. They just used to seize up as the bursts meant they took longer to recover and during football, as you keep on running they never got the rest to recover unless there is a long break in play. I can't wait to start taking it again.
