If he turns out to be half the player Digger was for LFC we've got ourself a bargain.
A genuine winger who WANTS to play as a genuine winger and wants to get quality crosses in. My goodness, I can't remember the last one we had play on the right for us.

Time for him to make like the Milkman and start delivering

[QUOTE=SouthAfricaRed]I just read that the Deal is the following:

I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                Mine angry and defrauded young?

The idea of some proper width; Pennant bombing down the right, Gonzales down the left.... I wonder what the odds on Robbie being top scorer in the Prem next year are? Might be a cheeky longshot
                  sounds good to me.

despite him not being the most popular player around, he is definately a Red, and i think he will do a great job for us. He has the qualities we were after, and he will desperately want to step up to the next level.

Good luck Jerm, im with you, lets hope you surprise a few of the non-believers.

I am quite happy with his signing, he will add to the squad and provide something extra on the right, well in Rafa

Something I've just noticed - the guy put 497 crosses into the box last season and they still got relegated...they were either poor crosses or who the hell was on the end of them??!!!

                      Oh...

Yes, and guess which team had the most headed chances and converted the smallest proportion of those chances?

                        That's right. Liverpool.

JP's crosses are going to be worthless without a player in there that can get a decent head on the ball. That isn't Lurch.

                            Two points:

Crouch is good at getting knockdowns from crosses, last season there was rarely anyone in the box to follow up. I agree he should be better at attacking the ball but I think that will come. I also think Luis Garcia and Fowler will benefit from the type of crosses Pennant puts in.

How come when I quote u it says Lurch and when I read the post it says Crouch? Do you have magic anti Crouch voodoo powers?
