Good question,I currently don't think we have the quality to do it. I believe this obsession with getting English players has cost us more than we had to pay so far. We need anothr striker and a left back but these need to be quality not just English.
It's a prediction thread on a wish list.

Miss out on the top 4 this season and wave goodbye to Pepe and Suarez next summer.

Absolutely. Just thinking out loud about the worst case scenario and it is scary.

Dalglish too I think. Our owners aren't fools and want to see genuine progress and I think his comments spell out what's required. If we don't get to that level I think they'd quickly show him the door

It would depend on the circumstances of it.

I love Dalglish but there is pressure on him, and a lot of it self inflicted really. If he doesn't achieve fourth or at least fights for it, his job is on the line and rightly so.

BUT I have every confidence in him returning us the top four.
                          * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Hand on heart with every week that passes and I reflect at our squad I have to say it is looking more and more unlikely. I truly hope I am proven wrong but I have to say I feel a sense of genuine disappointment at our activity this summer, especially when considering how well JWH backed us with funds.
