Stole this from where I everything:
    Nye investor-spekulasjoner

It says that George Gillett Jnr are looking to buy into LFC.
He `s only interested in buying the club, not a small part.
And it`s from the Daily Telegraph.

Didn't they go bankrupt? A less good sign.

Yes, but he built his personal wealth back up to something like $200M - so i guess he would be heading a consortium or some banks backing him. He still owns part of an ice hockey team in Canada and has a thrieving business, I think in meat packing(?). <from memory only>

How is his Ice Hockey team doing? I think that sport is different to other areas of business and I don't want someone to come along who spunks loads of money but makes us dependant on theit largesse to keep in business in the future.

If we're going down the American route I'd prefer Kraft, who has a history of success in investing in sport in general and football in particular, and also hasn't been bankrupt.

I think we'll just have to get behind whoever buys in or takes over - it's not lilke we are going to walk away from LFC and you've got to think after all this time Parry and co. will make a reasonable choice

I really dont see Parry and Moores giving in to a full takeover, the guy just doesnt want to sell up. However, some radical action is needed otherwise we really are going to slip well behind Arse, Scum and Chavs in the financial stakes.
