If we sign up Enrique and first choice CB (+ one more game changer above and beyond) I like our chances for top 4.

Yes. Wish to f*ck we were pushing a bit higher though having spent so much. Big year for The King.

Both those two and one more player who can score goals/make things happen, and i think we'd be a shoe-in (depending on what Arsenal do).

I think most people will go with that top 3 in some order and that ourselves, Arsenal and Spurs are the three teams battling for the 4th spot.

I'd be very dissappointed if Spurs finished above us. I think it'll be an interesting season for us and Arsenal. For us it very much depends on us being able to create a cohesive system with the players we have. Arsenal for me still need a couple of players and if they lose Fabregas and Nasri may need a few more.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

well for me so far City have strenthened, United have a bit but was forced upon them with retirements, Chelsea so far haven't really added much this summer and are getting older and Arsenal need desperately to sort that defence out + the issues with keeping Fabregas and Nasri at the club.

If we start well and get on a roll I don't see why a top 3 couldn't be achieved

Unsurprisingly, I think we’ll finish first.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Man City have undoubtedly strengthened. Man Utd I'm not so sure about, they have have had to replace some good players and big characters in their team/squad and I don't think we'll know how well they've done that for a while. Chelsea we'll need to see how they respond to their new manager.

I wouldn't rule them out. If they can keep Modric and sign Lass and Rossi they would be right up there with other 5 teams.

May as well throw in Messi and Suarez.

VDV was a massive coup, but generally their transfer targets are hilarious.

For City, a lot will depend on whether they can acquire some spirit and unity - and how they navigate playing CL, in relation to their league campaign. If both issues go positively for them, they've as good a chance of the title as anyone. If not, then they arent even guaranteed a top four finish. People slate Mancini, but he knows what it takes to win a league title, having won a few in Italy. He will need to tweak it slightly to adjust to the English PL, but he has the know-how.

Arsenal will always be there or thereabouts, but year after year, they keep failing to address what needs addressing - and they keep sailing close to the wind, with regards to CL qualification - sooner or later, unless they address the weaker areas, they will sail TOO close to the wind and drop out of the top four.

You know what you're going to get with Chelsea, they havent strengthened hugely yet, but despite the ageing squad and even with a new coach, they're certainties for top four and could have a title challenge in them.

United are always going to challenge for the title, it's the same every year and even with the players they've lost, they've done more or less what they can to replace them, barring the need for a younger Scholes-clone in midfield. No chance whatsoever of them not finishing in the top 3, and obviously they will be bookies' favourites to win it.

Spurs campaign will depend largely on the Europa League IMO - if they go out early, they'll be in the mix for 4th place, along with us and probably Arsenal. If they stay in the Europa League for a while, then i think they'll end up anywhere between 5th and 9th.

Without going into specifics about transfer rumors, either way he was a massive player that the likes of Spurs are not used to signing.
