Suarez or Aguero player of the year. Aguero to win the golden boot.
The three keys this season.
Will Aguero deliver in a way most of us think he will do? That means plenty of assist and goals.
Is De Gea good enough or not?
Will Torres start scoring goals for fun again?
I doubt that De Gea will deliver straight away. It will be a lot up and downs.
Aguero to score 25+ goals in the league and make 15+ assists. Suarez will try and may very well match that.
Torres will never be as good as he was a couple of years ago. Will most probably be sold back to Spain after this season.
We will finish in second place. Man C to win the league.Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

its giggs turn isnt it for player of the year? deserves it for being hairyOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostMy predictions:
- Suarez will be LFC player of the year
- He'll also be the best player in the league but obviously won't win the award. Best non-LFC player will be David Silva
- We'll finish 4th
- Maxi will find himself an outcast, along with Poulsen, Ngog and one or two others
- Lucas will play most weeks
- Gerrard will be a bit-part player (injuries)

Spot on, especially the last bit, IMHO.
I think we'll get fourth, and that Aquilani stays and is our best player (after Suarez).
Serious tip (apologies for going off topic) - try Weight Watchers online (there's an app for the iPhone). I lost 3 stone between the beginning of May and 15 July just using the app to monitor my food (down from 15st 3lbs to 12st 4lbs). My wife did the same and lost just under 3 stone in the same period. An added benefit seems to be that my metabolism has changed, as I've been eating normally for the last month but haven't put on a pound. Tom Werner says Liverpool will keep investing but backs finance rules

Tom Werner, the Liverpool chairman, has said Fenway Sports Group will continue to invest in restoring "the lustre" of the club but that Uefa's financial fair play rules must be enforced to enhance the competitiveness of the Premier League.
Liverpool are close to taking their summer spending to £54m with the £6m purchase of José Enrique from Newcastle United and, having paid £57.8m for Andy Carroll and Luis Suárez in January, FSG has sanctioned the biggest spending spree in the club's history. Not surprisingly John W Henry, the club's principal owner, has admitted it would be a major disappointment should Liverpool fail to qualify for the Champions League this season. Werner has refused to set defined targets but said FSG's investment in the club is far from over.
"I don't want to promise so much," the Liverpool chairman said. "I know John has said we're going to be top four and Kenny [Dalglish] says well why can't we win. But we just want to move forward – we want to be better this year than last year and just keep going on the right track."
Werner added: "I think the most important thing, and it may seem obvious, is put on a quality product for your fans. These are people who spend their hard earned pounds to come to see the club, and we've got supporters all around the world, who expect a quality product, and so it's been our goal to try to improve our position on the pitch and to try and create an environment for players to say they want to play in Liverpool, and to bring some of the lustre that all the fans know back to the club."
Liverpool's chairman has echoed Henry's view on financial fair play, however. The club's principal owner recently backed Arsène Wenger's suspicion of Manchester City's £400m naming-rights deal with Etihad Airways, tweeting: "A club's best player has to be worth at least 10% of your naming rights. Mr Wenger says boldly what everyone thinks."
Werner said: "I hope there's some teeth in it because I think it's healthy for the sport. It will make the sport more competitive. Part of our assumption when we came in last year was that financial fair play was coming into existence and that we'd hope it would have some teeth. It will make the performance on the pitch more competitive."
In an interview with LFC TV, entitled "Tom Werner: Up Close and Personal", which airs on Friday at 7.30pm, the club chairman also backed Dalglish to continue his dramatic overhaul of the team's performances this season.
Werner added: "I can't think of somebody who embodies the relentlessness and the drive and the attitude of excellence better than Kenny. Obviously we knew of him before we met him. I think he is a natural leader; I've had the privilege to watch him as he trains the men at Melwood. And I just think he's so charismatic and I think he's been able to instil a sense of purpose into the club; and when he says something, I think people listen."Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Good post mate and, i hope your predictions come trueOriginally posted by Tee View PostOnly 48 hours to go and I am not seeing too much excitement here!! Come on, where are you?!!!
2 days time and its the BIG kick off!!
Hopes and expectations will never be higher than they are right now, but will it be the same old story this season or are we actually going to make an impact?
Hit the ground running and I think we can really be the surprise package this season. I expect us to challenge for a top 4 spot but know that Kenny has eyes on only 1 prize, thank God!!
My predictions for this season:
1. Suarez will be Player of the Year.
2. Gerrard will be back and be as good as ever.
3. We will be top of the league at some point before September!!
4. FSG will announce the new stadium.
5. Kenny will guide us back into the CL (just!!!).
6. There will be more performances away from home like the one v Fulham.
Cannot wait for Saturday now!! Bring it on!! YNWA!!!

My predictions: -
Liverpool 3rd
Carroll, Adam and Downing all a success
Degen still at Liverpool, somewhere
Chelsea don't win the Champions League
Arsenal do better than we all expect but still win nothing
QPR stay up, Norwich & Swansea don't. Wigan joins them in relegation, or Blackburn.

I am so excited for this!! The Enrique deal is the most exciting for me. We finally have a proper Left Back at the club who we can rely on. The balance of the team is now proper with Downing on the left too.
We could give some of the other big boys a serious run for their money this year! Super excited.96 Never Forgotten

Very much looking forward to this season. I was depressed as **** by this point last year. I was trying to justify to myself that the players we signed were good enough.
Only thing I worry about is that we might be exposed a little defensively down our left side, but equally, I expect alot more goals to come from this side. Our CB's are going to have to step up this season too. Agger needs a big season.*Except Michael, who died.
