Twitter is full of this at the moment. The story goes Fenerbahce have been banned from Europe meaning their place is up for grabs and according to the rules goes to the highest ranked club not already in Europe.

That club is currently Arsenal, and if they lose tonight will go into the CL anyway as the highest ranked team.

If they win, the CL place goes to the next ranked team.......



.......which is us.

depends on how UEFA will judge this reall. I'm certain from a sporting viewpoint taking a champion from a smaller league would be the way to go, but knowing UEFA and their money hungry elite it would commercially be far better giving it to us.

Fenerbahce is officially out, so interesting to see where it lands. It won't be another turkish club as the silver medal winners are also involved in the match fixing scandal.
