And yeah, if 2 or 3 get injured at the same time, then you're ****ed - but that would be extremely unlucky and unlikely.

You put yourself in the position to deal with things that are likely to happen, and on the other hand, there are some things you cant legislate for.

You need a squad of around 25 players.

Unless you get 20 injuries, in which case you need a squad of 45....

Completely disagree. If we want to play 2 strikers and one of them gets injured, then Kenny is FORCED into playing the other two. A situation is forced onto a manager, is not 'fine'.

I'm not saying we can get the quality of Suarez but there's got to be a few with good technical ability, movement and work rate.

Bellamy would tick those boxes, but i dont think we're gonna get him.

Lavezzi would be great, but i dont think there's much chance of that.

Would be good to get Bellamy before the window closes, on a 1 year contract. Shame that looks off now. If Lavezzi stays at Napoli this season and we get top 4 finish then I hope we are in for him next season.

1-year rolling contract for Bellamy on free imo would be great for us.

Lavezzi, on the other hand, would be an outstanding call and would walk straight in our first team but Napoli wouldn't sell him for 20m+ and next year he'll be too old anyway.

You can play the percentages dave, having just 3 strikers is asking for trouble, having four reduces the risk somewhat.

He'd be 27, same age as Downing. Not that old really, 5-6 years of good football left. If we are in the champions league next season we could have another big spending spree so I would never rule it out.
