Where Suso has floundered lately, Silva has flourished. He's starting to look very good.

Also agree about the Morgan/Fowler connection.

He is a goal machine and I think he will break through. If he is near the goal you expect him to score, a sure sign of a class player.

OMG what a match! I thought I'd stay away from the score and watch the rerun at 10pm. Cursing and swearing through the match with Sterling and Ngoo particularly p*ssing me off before screaming like a girl when Morgan scored. And so happy for Silva who was trying to score singlehandedly all through the second half. Who could blame him, passing to Ngoo = miss.

Silva plays like that every game. It doesn't matter who's upfront. He'll never make it at a decent level if he doesn't work on his end product. Knowing when to pass or shoot, makes or breaks a wide player.

Our Academy lost at home again. 2-1 to Blackburn. The reports suggest we played some good football. Not sure why we brought Mike Marsh in to replace someone of Borrell's stature. Always sounded like a 2-steps-back approach to me.

Last year's Academy contained the likes of Suso, Sterling, Ngoo, Silva, etc, and most of them will struggle to command a first team place. This year's new breed are anonymous by comparison apart from Morgan.

Tony Silva is a talent but I've heard others mention he's very greedy which it did appear that way on here too. Morgan takes his goals well and Ngoo looks a beast

so are we out of this next gen then? or really struggling - results don't seem to have been too good.

from when i've watched the youth Ngoo and Sterling have really stood out - silva seems to be world class one minute and completley lost the next - seems a crazy ******* too - connor coady looks half decent as well.

Haven't we got two to go and need to win at least 1 of them to have a chance? I thought I read that somewhere or did I dream it. Agree about Ngoo and Sterling And Coady too. These types of matches will defo help their development IMO.
