Agree with this too. Carroll will be important at defending set pieces. That being said Bellamy, Dirk and Suarez would put unreal pressure on their defence from up top.

How long is Kelly out for? We could do with him in this game.

I think that would be just playing to Stoke's strengths. They'll be happy dealing with that than with intelligent movement.

Agree but Carroll would be very handy defending their set pieces. I know you don't pick a centre-forward with defending in mind but still, it's true.

Apart from the domestic cups, I don't think we'll see much of Coates this season.
