    Get well soon Bugsy

Not seen it in here so I thought Id start a thread for the Legend that is our Ronnie "Bugsy" Moran.
    Get well soon Ronnie.

    Liverpool Echo

KENNY DALGLISH has paid tribute to Ronnie Moran after the Liverpool legend was admitted to hospital.

The 77-year-old from Crosby, who served the Reds as player, coach, assistant manager and caretaker manager, fell ill earlier this week.

Dalglish said: “He’s part of the fabric here, even now. He comes here two or three times a week to walk by what he calls his prison exercise yard, which is just by the walls here at Melwood.

“He wasn’t feeling great so that’s the best place (hospital) for him. We’ve been assured that he’s very comfortable. Although he’s not 100%, he’s not too bad.

“Ronnie’s been a fantastic part of this football club for almost as long as he has been alive. Let’s hope he has a few more years in him yet. It’s great to see him when he comes here.

“He knows how much the club respect him and care for him.”

Moran, who signed professional terms for the Reds in 1952, served the club for 46 years prior to his retirement in 1998.
That's my new book. 'Shut the **** Up, by Dr. Denis Leary'. Patients come in. 'Doctor I-' Shut the **** up! NEXT!! 'Doctor, I've got this-' SHUT THE **** UP!! NEXT! 'He made me feel so much better. He just told me to shut the **** up. Nobody ever told me that before!'

He's a complete legend of our club..

There was a documentary on SKY last year with Jamie Redknapp coming back to interview our King at Melwood..to see Ronnie walking about with the training gear on brought a nostalgic tear to my eye - It goes to show what a beautiful club we have, that Ronnie is still part of the fabric.

I always think back to this pic when i think of Ronnie..

We can only hope for good news of ronnie's health shortly...

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Although Moran was not killed in the February 1929 bloodbath that had obviously been meant for him, his days as a mighty gangland power were numbered. Cops and journalists who prided themselves on knowing gangsters better than the hoods themselves dismissed Moran, figuring that the loss of his top men in the Clark Street garage and Capone's slow but sure absorption of the North Side would either force Bugs out of town for good or make him a vulnerable target that no red-hot seeking a reputation could resist."

I assume that this is the reason!!!!

Never ever heared Ronnie referred to as Bugsy. Totally new one on me. The only Bugsy I recall was David Burrows.
