The performance today maybe, but our form so far this season has been extremely average. This has been one of the easiest group of opening fixtures we've had yet we're struggling. The Arsenal game papered over the cracks, we beat the worst Arsenal team in years and even then we needed a sending off before we took advantage. We haven't even got a european distraction.Originally posted by danperkins View PostAh to be fair this performance is rare. Just a ****ed up from top to bottom. Carroll and Hendo shouldn't be starters IMO & Downing needs to do more in a LFC shirt. But everyone has been embarrassing today.
We've dropped points against Sunderland, Stoke, and now Spurs. 1.4 points a game is what we're averaging, enough for 53 points this season and we've spent a fortune. The problem is, and enough fans voiced their concerns at the time, that we've spent it unwisely.
Kenny and Camolli have buggered things up royally. For once we've had some money to spend and these two have filled us up with average players (Suarez aside). I just hope that the owners aren't once bitten twice shy as I see Kenny leaving in the next season or two.
Suarez and Reina won't be hanging around next year if we're out of europe again, thats for sure.

Downing I dont mind as much because that is a player we needed. The other two i'm afraid just haven't really impressed enough to even warrant half the price payed for the both of themOriginally posted by Baracus View Post75m and 3 players that I did not want near LFC. I've said it repeatedlyThe times they are a changin'.

way way too early to judge. 10 games is always the point in a season to start making such big statements. we'll be fine.Originally posted by Suarez View PostThe performance today maybe, but our form so far this season has been extremely average.
