Even Friedel over the years has had games where nothing gets by him. 2 of the goals today where saveable if not the forth. Plus his first kick with his left today, set the tone. You can always tell when he's going to have an off day imo.

That is all. No witch hunt. Back to slating carroll, henderson, carra, adam etc
No way we can blame Reina for today's result. Sure 3rd goal (maybe second too) was his fault but he'll definitely bounce back.

I am not sure I can say the same thing for many of our players as some are just not producing at the level expecting from them.

One thing that is massively important is that we bounce back against Wolves, we can't let ourselves get into a downward spiral especially with The Bitters and Mancs just around the corner

Remember the runs that we used to have under Rafa? Eight games without conceding or ten games without a defeat?

Well it's going to be a while before we see that again.

He wouldn't have made the difference today.

Only player that could've is Stevie.

Meireles & Lucas in a midfield pair today would have been a horror show as well. We've not got the players to be playing 442 against decent sides, Gerrard wont be changing that either.

Yeah, not all Kenny's fault though, the league is stronger and he's had to deal with the mess Benitez, Hodgson, Hicks and Gillett left.

Carroll worked hard Yeah by his low standards. He looks so lethargic its untrue. We play crap with him and other players look to him rather than focusing on passing and moving.

Utterly depressing performance. Why oh why can't we play simple fluid football. I just despair I really do.

It is easy to get carried away here but it honestly seems as though we have wasted an awful lot of money this summer on players who have looked shocking in the last couple of games.

I for one cannot wait until Stevie is back in the team. We need a leader on the pitch asap before this season goes proper tits up.

Nah, bollocks mate. You're a happy clapper who never has a bad word to say about Kenny. Get yer stories straight.

I wasn't blaming him for us losing. But he was **** and I'd thought I'd throw my comments in this thread.

We have plenty already this season.

Well so far it seems he is, and don't let me get started about Aquilani.
