5 games in and we're just 2 points better of than Bodge was last season, though he faced Utd, City and a far superior Arsenal side?

We've spent approximately £100m since he left improving the squad.

Man Utd have already accumulated more than double our points tally.

They're facts. The rest might be opinion, but those facts speak for themselves.

We shouldn't praise after 3 games and we shouldn't slag them off after 5.

              38 game season

                  Theres 33 left now.

I agree with that though to an extent, I do however believe that Carroll, Henderson and Adam were terrible mistakes and were never what this club needed, especially at the price we paid, but its not based on these 5 games.

The fact that Ferguson has this youthful, pacey squad battering everything in site just rubs salt into the wounds.

He's had more time to build though mate. Can't expect Kenny to turn it after 6 months. I think the only poor signing so far has been Carroll, as I don't see how he's going to fit into the system we play. But I still think he can come good, just lacking confidence.

Adam was a decent signing at £7m, and I'm a big fan of Henderson, I think in a few years he'll be a cracking player.

I was narked off with Sunday, I think we all were and I was quick to criticize some, Reina in particular but we need to forget about it and move on.

As has been said it was a ****e performance but at the end of the day we were playing with 9 men for a long period of the game and you cannot expect to challenge with 9 men.

We must improve though and must do more, the team needs to work harder as a unit and break down teams together and then we can push on from there.

We will improve no doubt about it, Gerrard coming back is a massive bonus for us too.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Adam has already created goals for us. He'll be worth every penny we paid for him by the end of the season.

**** Utd, we worry about ourselves.

This club has just gone through a massive massive change from owners to manager to new players. Everything about the club is better than it has been for 18 months. We have a strong squad. A little luck and a fair bit of patience is required.

This time last year, we had H&G, Hodgson and Konchesky.

Almost daily I wake up and smile when I realise Kenny is in charge, I've been waiting ever since he left for the day to come and a few **** results won't spoil that. for the first time in years it feels like my LFC again, I know I've got the love back when a defeat hurts so much. I think the fact that utd appear to be in a different league to us at present makes it a little easier for us to just go about our business and improve one step at a time. we're not challenging them and won't be this season. this year is all about gelling and trying to nick 4th, a gain of 2 places and hopefully bringing in a cup. if things go our way and we click sooner, we're more than capable of having a run that could take us higher than 4th. I honestly see very little to be pissed off with.

And Ferguson has been at the club about 25 years!! Perhaps you could give Kenny more than 8 months to try and match his teams?

We are just getting over a rot of appalling owners and arguably the worst manager football in this country has ever seen, that was a hell of a lot of damage, damage that isnt repaired over night. Man City spent 100s of millions and only got 3rd last season, it takes time. It'd be nice if you could give the new players more than 5 league games and the manager more than 8 months.

11 months ago we were facing a relegation battle and were in real danger of administration.

We've come a long way just to be competing realistically for fourth.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
