I think the problem has been with Carroll is that his movement has been very poor for us, he seems to not be able to take up good positions.

I think it's the team, I guess with both Crouch and Carroll it's an easy option to look long early, but we there is a noticable difference in our play when he isn't in the side (but I don't think this is his fault).
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Suarez should have made it 2

its not really the point i am trying to make. Carrolls form and ability or lack of it in my eyes do worry me. However under two managers who dont really hoof the ball with different sets of players who dont tend to hoof the ball we have had two big men up front who when on the pitch seem to get the ball hoofed at them a lot.

yeah but you would imagine rafa and kenny would have said dont keep bloody hoofing it. obviously bodge would have been different but we didnt have a big man when he was here, he wanted it hoofed to torres instead

Dont get me wrong lad.Read my posts on Carroll.I don't see what he offers to the team right now and we play better without him.Its just that many on here are quick to refute that and say he just needs games.

Cant have it both ways,he needs games and will prove himself yet we dont trust the lad to start against Brighton.

I think we play up to him to early when he isn't in the side we have better build up, when he plays we play long balls up to him and lose possession. There is a noticable difference in the movement of Carroll and Kuyt/Suarez/Bellamy, but IMO that would only affect us in the final third, whereas IMO it affects us over the pitch.
