These second half performances are worrying me now as we are dropping our level on a regular basis in after the restart.

I was surprised bellamy didn't get a start or atleast get on after the perfomance he put in midweek.

Have to say, Wolves are a bit better than people give them credit for. They would've got a right bollocking for losing at home to QPR. They also had all their best players on the park...without one or two and they become ****e.

Not great performance but a good win.

The biggest worry for me is our second half performances. Why do we just seem to stop playing?

Great to see SG back at Anfield too. He looked very sharp.

Henderson needs to imporve a heap to keep dirk out of the team.
Today's performance was almost as bad as last couple. He totally failed to impose himself and influence the match and I personally wouldn't start him against Everton.

Kuyt traditionally has MOTM type of performance when we play Bitters I hope he gets the chance to start.

So much ****e spouted in this thread already

We were '****e' 'average' etc etc, 'boring' blah blah. 2nd half wasnt our best and yes, we were under pressure and a bit lucky. But so were Wolves, we hit the post and bar, had several other chances, broke away with pace and threatened on more than a couple of occasions. And while it's never pleasing to be put under the kind of pressure we were, we actually defended it pretty well.

The only real area of criticism is that we're not clinical enough with our finishing. Having said that, hitting post and bar isnt exactly missing by much.

              Too many whingers here.

iI think its more to do with the other team having a right on rollicking at half time and changing things to adapt to us running the show.

Adam running out of puff plays a part, IMO. Lucas is having to work far harder in the 2nd half of games. Henderson's anonimity is becoming a concern too.

I'm also concerned that Kenny is being a little stubborn in his selections. Henderson isn't showing the sort of form that dictates a starting place in front of Kuyt, to name but one

Henderson needs to be benched IMO how he is keeping Kuyt or even Bellamy out of the team is anyones guess.

Wolves has been an awkward game the last couple of seasons, and we're better off against them than we were last season.

Suarez was livid again for being subbed.

Did you see how he kicked the water bottle once again.

I think the only reference to '****' has been the team selection Craig.

Overall a good performance but we really need to get more clinical in front of goal. We have plenty of chances today, but still we only manage to score 2 goals and left us with the risk of a draw.

But I'm happy with the 3 points, and a good performance. The team seems to get to know eachother more and more and I'm positive about the upcoming games.

The weak side this season seems to be defense and strongpoint the attack, so it's almost a complete reverse of last season.

Thought was great result, we could have had 5 or 6 but we look so dodgy at the back. Game should have been killed off in first half, like a few other games this season. A combination of bad luck and less than clinical finishing, to keep an average but plucky Wolves team in the game, fair play to them.

Too open for my liking, Skrtel as many of us have been saying for years is a complete and utter liability, Carra is a legend but is so ropey. I thought Carroll was excellent today, especially on the ground and was unlucky not to score, his movement was bit better too although playing a wee bit too deep IMO.

Suarez was a class act, gutted not to see him and Stevie playing together. Gerrard was excellent when he came on too. Lucas & Adam weren't great today, Adam fades and Lucas just looks bit worn from the Copa. Henderson was average once again.

                                Anyways delighted with the result
